What are some materials that transmit ultraviolet light? Also, what are some materials that shield ultraviolet light?

Ultraviolet light is often referred to as UV light. UV light is part of the electromagnetic spectrum. It is a form of radiation that cannot be detected by the human eye.

There is a coating that can be applied to quartz glass windows and plates that transmits UV light. The coating reduces the transmission of waves with longer wavelengths. Thus, the transmission of IR radiation is reduced when using the UV-transmitter quartz glass plates. This optimizes the transmission of UV light.

UV sensors allow for the transmission of UV light. Electrical signals are created within the sensors upon the transmission of a specific wavelength of UV light. These electrical signals are then used to generate graphs and reports.

UV filters block or shield the transmission of UV light. Examples of UV filters include fluorescent lamp sleeves for UV control, Plexiglas UF-3 and UF-5 acrylic sheeting for UV control, and Lucite CP acrylic sheeting for UV control.

How does the choice of details set the tone of the sermon?

Edwards is remembered for his choice of details, particularly in this classic sermon. His goal was not to tell people about his beliefs; he ...
