In Chains, what information catches Isabel's ear?

There is a lot of information that catches Isabel's ear, because she is actively spying on the Lockton family.  I do believe that the question is directed at events in chapter 9 though.  


In chapter 9, Isabel overhears Mr. Lockton tell three other British supporters that he has smuggled in enough money to begin bribing members of the rebel army.  


This is precisely the kind of information that Curzon told Isabel to watch and listen for, but at that time Isabel did not agree to be a spy.  She changes her mind in chapter 9, because Madam Lockton has begun using Ruth as a trained human pet.  Curzon told Isabel that if she works as a spy for the patriots, she can earn freedom for herself and Ruth.  At the end of chapter 9, Isabel decides to take the information to Curzon and get free from the Lockton family.
