Balance Ba(N03)2+ K2S04 -> KN03+BaSO4

The given equation is:

`Ba(NO_3)_2 + K_2SO_4 -> KNO_3 + BaSO_4`

Here, barium nitrate reacts with potassium sulfate to generate potassium nitrate and barium sulfate.

A balanced chemical reaction is one in which the number of any given atoms on each side of the equation (reactant side and the product side) is the same. Before balancing any chemical reaction, one has to determine the atoms or species that need to be balanced.

In the given chemical reaction, the number of barium atoms is the same on each side (1 each). Potassium is not balanced. We have two atoms of potassium on the reactant side, whereas only 1 atom is present on the product side. Let us balance that by using a coefficient of 2 with potassium nitrate.

`Ba(NO_3)_2 + K_2SO_4 -> 2KNO_3 + BaSO_4`

Now we can see that all the atoms are balanced and there is an equal number of each on both the product and reactant side. For example, there is 1 sulfur atom on each side and 10 oxygen atoms on each side. This is the balanced chemical equation.

Hope this helps.
